This article is nominally written in British English with Oxford spelling. In the first paragraph, i thereby changed "hypothesise" to "-ize". As a staunch supporter of English spelling reform (current spelling is unacceptably un-transparent), i am happy to perform such Oxfordizations, as i call them. Of course, my conscience prohibits me from de-Oxfordizing a word ("-ize" → "-ise", for said lexical set), regardless of the English variety in which said article is nominally written.
